Our Charity Partners 2025/2026
Charity is a fundamental part of our business here at Stone, a Converge Company, and 2024 has been a busy year with colleagues and teams taking part in all kinds of money-raising activities for our chosen organisations.
For 2025 and 2026 we’ve decided to dedicate our fundraising efforts to one national and one local charity and we’re hoping to raise £5,000 for each charity over the period. Our charity work forms a key part of our sustainable ethos - you can read more about our business here.
CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)
This is our national charity choice for 2025 and 2026 – because everyone counts inside and outside of our organisation, and we are continually strive to make our communities better. CALM’s vision is that no one feels like suicide is their only option. But right now, too many people are struggling to see a way forward.
Every day in the UK we lose 18 people to suicide. This isn’t just a stat on a page. These are our mums and dads, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partners, and friends.
CALM exist to help anyone struggling with life – and provide everyone with skills to prevent suicide.
They provide:
- Life-saving services, information, and advice to help anyone struggling with life navigate the issues that can make us feel miserable.
- Trusted tools that give practical ways to manage mental health.
- Campaigns to make sure everyone has the knowledge and skills to unite against suicide.
- During these two years we will be exploring inventive ways to support the charity from within Stone, a Converge Company.
Brighter Days Rescue, Staffordshire
The local organisation, Brighter Days Rescue, is a dog shelter in Staffordshire. Their mission is to rehome dogs in loving households where they will be treated with respect and become part of a family.
Stone felt this aligned well with us as it not only contributes to the welfare of animals but promotes a compassionate society. We look to collaborate with this dog charity to provide employees with opportunities to volunteer and engage in meaningful activities outside of their regular work.
Making a Difference at Stone and Beyond
CALM and Brighter Days are our chosen charities for 2025/2026, but they’re not the only organisations we’re proud to support. During these years, we will continue to support a variety of charities as we have with other organisations.
We would like to thank Katharine House and Shelter for the wonderful journey we have forged together over the last two years.
As 2024 becomes 2025 we intend to keep raising money and change our focus from Katharine House and Shelter over to Brighter Days Dog Rescue and CALM, we are excited for this new horizon and will keep our updates coming in the months ahead.
