IT Asset Disposal

E-waste is the fastest-growing waste stream on the planet. Aging, unwanted IT is home to Persistent Organic Pollutants, or POPs, and if unwanted IT is disposed of irresponsibly, it can damage the earth, its ecosystems, and its inhabitants.

Our IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) services can assist your organisation by responsibly and securely disposing of unwanted IT. We recycle at our award-winning facility in Staffordshire and at our regional hub in Scotland, and our ITAD services are simple, sustainable and secure.

IT asset disposal with us couldn't be simpler. We dispose of assets responsibly and transparently, allowing you to track your recycling journey every step of the way.

Our IT asset disposal service includes:

  • Free collections of IT assets*, using solid-sided GPS-tracked vehicles
  • Zero Waste to Landfill. Every piece of IT that comes into Stone, a Converge Company, is either reused or recycled. Our independent certification from Valpak ensures you have peace of mind when using Stone as a recycling partner.
  • Our recycling facility is permitted to accept waste electrical and electronic equipment by the Environment Agency
  • Compliance to internationally-recognised ISO standards, including ISO27001 and ISO14001
  • Reassurance of working with a company committed to cyber security, with Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification
  • Policies, procedures, and operations compliant with the ICO-approved standard, ADISA 8.
  • Ministry of Defence standard data erasure using NIST-approved software. We use industry-leading data erasure software Blancco to wipe data in a secure that adheres with UK GDPR regulations.
  • Complete traceability at every stage, including a full recycling audit, a certificate of disposal and social value reports
  • Deinstallation and asset management services if you need expert help to remove and manage IT assets and infrastructure from your facility
  • The potential to generate rebates - make back some of the cost of your IT asset disposal via rebates from qualifying equipment that can be used again.

*Free collection subject to minimum requirements.

"The fact Stone Group would collect from us for free, securely dispose of our kit and even pay us for any equipment they could recycle and sell on seemed too good to be true! I am so pleased I was introduced to Stone Group – I just wish I had worked with them years ago."
