Overview
OM4 Laser-Optimized Multimode Fiber (LOMMF) "aqua" cable uses with 40/100 Gb Ethernet applications. This technology, 50/125 um, LC/LC fiber optic cable provides three times the bandwidth over conventional 62.5 um multimode fiber, with performance rivaling that of singlemode cable, at a much reduced cost. LOMMF cable allows 40/100 Gb serial transmission over extended distances in the 850 nm wavelength window, where low-cost Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Lasers (VCSELs) enable a cost-effective, high-bandwidth solution. LOMMF is ideally suited for LANs, SANs, and high-speed parallel interconnects for head-ends, central offices, and data centers.

Enhanced connectivity The Eaton Tripp Lite Series fiber patch cable ensures superior connectivity with its duplex configuration, allowing for simultaneous, bi-directional data transmission. This feature is crucial for high-speed networks, ensuring that data flows efficiently and reliably between devices. High-quality material Constructed with Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket material, this cable is designed for environments where safety, durability, and environmental friendliness are priorities. The LSZH material emits less toxic and corrosive gas under fire conditions, making it a safer choice for crowded spaces. Optimized for high-speed networks Featuring laser-optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF), the cable is engineered to support the demands of networks. This ensures that the cable can handle high bandwidth applications, making it an ideal solution for data centers and high-performance computing environments.
