Step 1: Application

Search our current vacancies & click through to discover more about the opportunity on offer. Complete our quick and easy application form & your details will go through to both the People Operations team & the Recruiting Manager of the specific Vacancy. Remember to attach an up-to-date CV and a short cover letter to support your application.

Step 2: Review

The Recruiting Manager will review your CV and Cover letter on or before the closing date of the vacancy. They will determine your suitability against the job role criteria and person specification. They may contact you for specific information before making a decision on the next stage – please ensure your contact details are up to date when applying!

Step 3: Interview/Selection

If you are selected for interview based on the review of your application, you will be invited to an interview. This may be face-to-face, over the phone or via video call. This is your time to showcase your skillset, personality and suitability to Stone. It is also a great opportunity for you to find out about life at Stone, career opportunities and anything else you may wish to discover before making a decision on your next career move! Whilst our interviews follow a competency-based structure, we also understand the need to enable your personality to shine through; therefore, we ensure we’re not too “rigid” with our format!

Step 4: Offer

If you are successful at interview stage you will receive a digital offer pack from Stone with required information and forms to complete before you start.

Step 5: Onboarding

All staff at Stone require a DBS check to be completed before joining. In some instances, we may also require Enhanced DBS’ or even Security Clearance; however, this will always be stated in the original job advert. Both the Recruiting Manager & our friendly People Operations team will also be on hand before your start date for any questions or queries you may have.

Step 6: Induction

We understand the importance of a detailed, friendly induction. It can be daunting starting a new position; therefore we ensure the induction period is an enjoyable experience for all of our new starters. Day one, your Manager and wider team will be here to welcome you and show you the ropes – you’ll also be given a tour of Stone HQ! In the first week, you will have met many of your internal stakeholders & wider colleague base. Within your first month, you will have attended a Welcome Lunch with other new starters in the business. This will be led by a Senior Manager/Director of Stone where you will learn all about the history of the business, the success stories & our plans for the future. You will also have the opportunity to discuss your onboarding/induction experience & provide us with feedback.
